THE TRIAL The trial of the Revolutionary Struggle case is in its final stage. Throughout the trial the courtroom evolved into a confrontation field where the actions and positions of Revolutionary Struggle were explained in the context of the fight against the regime and the conditions of modern totalitarianism, with the ultimate aim of Social Revolution. At the same time, through this trial the voice of the comrades who while acting within the context of other forms of struggle were targeted for their choices is heard.
Through their testimonies, the diversity of the movement was ratified
while they defended their political integration and action within the
anarchist milieu.
Today more than ever it is imperative that our solidarity is aimed at
sharpening the struggle for social liberation.
The district attorney presented the case of the state against the accused
and followed the choices of the anti-terrorist unit and among other
convictions he proposed the conviction of the three members who have taken
the political responsibility of their participation in the group, Nikos
Maziotis, Pola Roupa and Costas Gournas, as accomplishes to all actions of the group despite the fact that no evidence was presented to prove their
participation in any of the actions. Additionally and again without any
conclusive evidence he proposed the conviction of the 4 comrades that
denied their involvement with the group, Sarandos Nikitopoulos,
Christoforos Kortesis, Vaggelis Stathopoulos and Kostas Katsenos for
participation in it. He also proposed that the wife of Kostas Gournas,
Mari Beraha be acquitted as no evidence whatsoever was presented against
her.
