Text by D. Koufontinas and K. Gournas, for the Week of International Solidarity with comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah
The affair of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah comes to remind us that the struggle against supranational capital, a struggle for a just and classless world, produces a revolutionary ethics, an important heritage for the entire international movement against capitalism. This is so, because militants such as comrade Abdallah bequeath, through their tenacious attitude, all those noble attributes, all those virtues set off by human life itself, which make our struggle more beautiful, more powerful.
The force sent forth by the history of our jailed companion is vivifying not only for us, the political detainees all over the world, but also for the whole movement, for everyone who realizes that the important thing is to learn from the small defeats but even more important is to stand up and not let them knock you down.
We salute all the actions of international solidarity with comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah and we send our warmest revolutionary thoughts to him.
We stand firmly against the vengeful fury expressed by the French state, which keeps him imprisoned for almost 30 years and refuses to expel him to Lebanon, following the precepts of the American-Zionist regime.
